This project was created for a second year graphic design subject that focused on a communication design product. The goal of the task was to inform, celebrate or mobilise public opinion or behaviour in regards to current worldly issues. Through this open brief I chose to create a hypothetical non-for-profit organisation called Raising Paws that would work alongside the RSPCA to increase the adoption rates of shelter dogs. The goal of the project was to not only allow more dogs to be adopted, but to ensure that the adoptions were sustainable relationships. I did this through creating a ‘Dog Owner Starter Pack’ that provides owners with essential items and information on how to begin their journey of caring for their new dog. Find below a sample from the assignment, including branding solutions, collateral belonging to the starter back and hand drawn illustrations of the ‘dog faces’ of the brand.
