A website that works just as hard as the product
TDI Hire is a local business offering compact, multi-functional landscaping equipment for both professionals and weekend warriors. The owner approached me to bring the brand online with its first website — one that clearly showcased the range and could be easily updated in-house.
Built on Squarespace, the site was designed for simplicity and usability, using branded colours and typography for consistency. I created custom icons to highlight TDI’s unique selling points and wrote supporting copy, including the brand slogan: “Get it done with your army of one” — a line that resonated strongly with the client and their audience.
To improve site navigation, I used custom CSS to build a dropdown menu that allowed users to browse equipment and attachments by category — a workaround to Squarespace’s limited native menu options.
The final result was a clean, user-friendly site that brought the business online for the first time, reflecting both the brand’s grit and its practicality.
